Revenue
We consider businesses with annual revenues between £500,000 and £10 million. Businesses outside this range are typically not a fit at this stage.

Profitability
The business should be profitable and generating consistent cash flow. We are not buyers of distressed or turnaround situations.

Location
UK-based businesses only. We are happy to consider businesses across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Ownership
Owner-managed or founder-led businesses are our primary focus. We are looking for situations where the current owner is involved in day-to-day operations and is ready to step back.

Sectors
We consider all sectors. Our primary focus is on businesses in manufacturing, trade, B2B services and professional services — but if your business is profitable and owner-managed, we are interested in speaking with you regardless of sector.

The sector and the revenue matter — but what matters most is the seller situation. We do our best work with owners who:
- Are approaching retirement and thinking about their next chapter
- Want to step back from the business but ensure it carries on properly
- Have no obvious successor within the family or management team
- Want a fast, private, clean exit without a public process
- Care about what happens to their staff and customers after they leave

- Distressed businesses or those requiring significant turnaround
- Distressed businesses or those requiring significant turnaround – Businesses with pending legal disputes or unresolved liabilities
- Businesses outside the UK
- Start-ups or businesses without a trading history

Common Questions
Do you consider businesses outside the revenue range?
Not at this stage. Our focus is firmly on the £500k–£10m revenue band. We may expand this in future but we want to be transparent about where we are now.
Do you buy businesses in any sector?
Yes. We consider all profitable UK businesses. Sector is far less important than the owner situation and the quality of the business.
Do I need to be ready to sell right now?
Not at all. Some of the best conversations we have are with owners who are three or four years away from wanting to exit. Speaking early means we can build a relationship and move quickly when the time is right.
What if my business doesn't perfectly fit the criteria?
